What You Need Before Starting
Prepare the following before your first onboarding session. These are the only three things DeltaLead needs from you — the rest is handled by the implementation team.1
Access to your WhatsApp Business number
You will need to connect your existing WhatsApp Business number to the platform. Once connected, the number is managed through DeltaLead — you will stop using it directly in the WhatsApp Business app. If you prefer not to migrate your current number, you can set up a new SIM or eSIM: you only need to place it in a device for about five minutes to complete Meta’s verification, and then you can remove it. WhatsApp calls work over this same number with no additional configuration.
2
Your vehicle catalog or stock spreadsheet
Bring your inventory in any format — a spreadsheet, a DMS export, a CSV, or even a manually maintained list. DeltaLead uses this to train the AI on your actual stock so it never offers a unit that has already been sold or reserved. You can update the catalog after go-live; this initial version is just the starting point.
3
A team member available for commercial questions during the first week
The AI configuration team will need to understand how your dealership sells: what objections are common, which discounts you authorize, when to hand off to a human advisor, and what tone fits your brand. Having a sales manager or senior advisor available to answer these questions during the first week ensures the AI reflects your actual commercial playbook — not a generic one.
What DeltaLead Sets Up for You
Your onboarding covers every layer of the platform. You do not need a technical team on your side.Channel Integrations
DeltaLead connects WhatsApp, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), MercadoLibre, web forms, Typeform, and email. Each source feeds the unified lead inbox automatically.
AI Engine Configuration
The AI is configured with your language variant (es-AR, es-MX, es-CR, es-CO, pt-BR, or en-US), your tone, your commercial playbook, and the rules for what the agent can and cannot say or promise.
CRM/DMS Connections
DeltaLead maps your lead fields, pipeline stages, and conversation data to your existing CRM or DMS. Supported systems include Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Pipedrive, Odoo, Bitrix, PilotSolution, Tecnom, Google Sheets, and more.
Team Training
Your sales team learns how to use the unified inbox, review AI conversation transcripts and call recordings, intervene in live chats, and read the performance dashboard.
Gradual Activation Strategy
You do not need to flip a switch and hand everything over to the AI on day one. DeltaLead recommends — and is designed for — a phased activation that lets you build confidence before expanding coverage. Recommended sequence:- Start with overnight and weekend hours. Activate the AI agent only during the hours when your team is not available — late nights, early mornings, and weekends. These are hours where you currently have zero coverage, so there is nothing to disrupt and everything to gain.
- Measure results for two to four weeks. Review response rates, lead qualification scores, appointments booked, and how the AI handles real conversations with your actual leads. Adjust the playbook, tone, and follow-up cadence based on what you see.
- Expand to full hours. Once you are satisfied with how the AI performs, extend coverage to business hours. Your team continues handling escalations and human handoffs — the AI handles first contact and follow-up.
Specialized Onboarding Add-On
For complex operations or teams that want the fastest possible time to production, DeltaLead offers a Specialized Onboarding package at a one-time cost of US$2,000. This add-on includes:- Dedicated calls at each stage of the implementation — no waiting in a shared queue
